Over the course of 8-weeks, I had the opportunity to work at AvePoint, a global leader in data management and governance, as a Graphic Design Intern. I collaborated closely with the US Design Team to expand upon the current digital assets to further facilitate easy utilization by the creative team and other employees. Most of my projects focused on organizing and creating a working file of icons, editing photography, and designing visuals to strengthen AvePoint's brand presence. 
Core Values
Over four weeks, I explored new ideas for AvePoint’s core values of agility, passion, and teamwork to match and represent the new brand style and create logos that encapsulate the brand and promote technological modernization. I started by brainstorming and sketching logo ideas, remembering to maintain consistency.

A few ideas from the brainstorming stage. I began sketching the designs on paper, then moving into clean, sharp illustrations on Adobe Illustrator. Since, the core values were assets of AvePoint, I played around with incorporating the circle from the AvePoint logo into the designs. However, I realized the values began to look like letters, and went along with the process, rendering the letters to evoke a technological, modernization aesthetic. 
Eventually, I, along with the assistance of my manager, presented on these alternatives. I updated the pillars with these easily recognizable visuals, as well as proposed a new pillar of vision to tie into AvePoint's previous use of the AVPT acronym. These new pillar designs can be utilized on the website, social media, graphics, and the office spaces in all the AvePoint locations.

Icon Library
Using the previous icon library, I assisted in updating and creating icons to AvePoint's current branding colors. I created a working file library for designers to pull from and a PNG version for employees to use as a resource on PowerPoints, website pages, or any other asset they will create. The final result was a icon library of 109 different icons, each with 10 variations of colors from the brand. 
Duotone Treatment
Utilized and improved my photo editing qualities by creating a visually cohesive and striking series of duotone-treated photographs that align with AvePoint's brand guidelines. The edited photography adds to the digital assets and captures the brands' and sub-brands' vibrant energy and memorable moments.​​​​​​​
